2) Martha's Vineyard on Memorial Day Weekend  -Rides  planned on the afternoon of Friday May 24th with Longer rides Saturday and Sunday and the option to add on a short ride before returning home on Monday, May 27th Memorial day.  Come for the long weekend, or just Saturday and Sunday, it is up to you.  Base Hotel will be the Dockside Inn, but Oak Bluffs is full of options from B&B's to fancy hotels. All details will be on the rides board, but the best rooms may book early, so it is never to early to book.

3) SHELTER ISLAND Ride -JULY 13  Ferry from New London to Orient Point - Flat Ride to shelter island (Ferry Across and Back  Various Options for Lunch and Dinner - TAKE FERRY Back to NEW LONDON  - This is a SOUND CYCLISTS ANNUAL EVENT and now WCC Members are invited.

4) MONTREAL - CHAMPLAIN RIDE - August 1-4 2024.  

Montreal just made Top 10 Worldwide places to cycle by Momentum Magazine.

Ride with WCC and SCC along the Champlain Lake and Islands on Saturday July 3 with mostly flat distances up to 70 miles and beyond,  There are routes as short as 28 miles as well.  Sunday there is a ride down to Burlington Vermont with a Luch stop at the Dragon heart Dragon Boat festival.  This ride is on beautiful mixed pavement and gravel paths and roads that are generally fir smoother and better maintained than those locally.                                                                                                                                       

For those wishing some international Flavor, you have the option of traveling an hour further than Plattsburgh on Thursday and riding the beautiful bike paths of Montreal and enjoying incredible restaurants with tradiditonal Canadian dishes.  (poutine anyone?)                 We start with a Short ride Thursday afternoon along the Lachine Canal and St Laurence river. On Friday we start with he same routes but finish with explorqaation of the bridges, islands. and locks along the St Lawrence and include an optional climb to the top of Mount Real for scenic views before heading back to the states to our hotel in Plattsburgh.  Hotels in both Cities have a ONE Day cancellation policy.

5) Seacoast Century - September 21

 We are coordinating on these rides with Sound Cyclists to make certain we have decent turnouts and to share some of their rides we have not done before.  We are looking for VOLUNTEERS to help coordinate these events and plan for MORE!
